We took on the full restoration of 51 East Derry Road, a 1810 Colonial in Derry's Historic District, and brought it back to life while keeping its original character intact. We refinished the wide plank flooring throughout, opened up the ceilings, and added recessed lighting to modernize the feel without losing that historic warmth.

In the kitchen, we installed custom cabinetry and granite countertops, and connected it directly to the formal dining room—one of 8 original fireplaces sits right there, which we restored rather than replaced. On the first floor, we reworked the layout to include a living room, a flexible bedroom, two bathrooms, an office, and a sunroom that opens right out to the backyard, where we also redid the inground pool area and landscaping.

Upstairs, we finished out 4 bedrooms, a full bath, and a bonus room. We also rebuilt the front porch, expanded the garage to fit 4 cars, and added some of the finishing touches that really elevate the place—a marble entryway, a soaking tub, a double oven, and a breakfast bar.

It was a project that required a real balance of preservation and upgrade, and we're proud of how it turned out.
